Size 7US male here. As to width, at that size it's sort of beside the point. Below male size 8US even dedicated shoe stores in my area stock few shoes, usually cheap easy sellers. You take what you can get.
I'm an older fellow. My knees and ankles ain't what they once were. Several years ago I needed to find a pair a work shoes to help me survive standing hours on the job. I researched the subject online and came up with a list of acceptable footwear along with local stores who carried those brands. I'd show up at a store, tell the clerk my desires, see his or her eyes light up at a potential decent sell, be escorted to the shoes in question, and be asked my size. I'd tell 'em 7. The light would fade from their eyes. They'd tell me to look around and saunter back to the register.
While a number of local stores stocked the very shoes I wanted, none stocked them below size 8. I ended up ordering online, a risky proposition where fit is a concern. It worked out OK in the end, and the shoes I bought do make a noticeable difference.
I'm an American 11.5. I'm pretty tall for a 14 year old.

I wear a 10.5(US) apparently.
Most places I wear flip flops. If flip flops are not appropriate I wear my work boots. :V
