can you put me on supervised trial or something please
Admins are handpicked from moderators, they aren't just made out of nowhere. If you would like to apply to become a moderator, you're a single step away from the right place.
hello im here to apply to be server moderator could someone help?
If you're looking to apply to be a Sectional Moderator of the Servers subforum, you might want to re-read the first post in this topic again and submit an application to the proper place.
If you're looking to become a moderator or an admin of an actual Minecraft server, you might want to try poking around the Looking For subforum, not this topic. This topic is only for people looking to be forums moderators.

You do not apply here to be a minecraft admin, a sectional moderator is someone who gains their position by applying and getting accepted. When being a sectional moderator, you moderate the section in which you applied for.
Does reporting improve your chance of being a moderator?
GREAT GREAT question!
It does with me! If you're busy helping keep the community tidy, and of your own accord. That shows mucho initiative on your part, and is a definite A+ right off the bat

Nope. They rather enjoy it, it seems. I once went on a report spree in Minecraft Discussion because Raynee was bored and wanted something to do. I suppose it gives them a sense of purpose.
I never thought of it that way But thanks, for pointing it out.
Well, one of my old mod friends (no longer a mod) said he hated it when people did it because, it would just spam him and he would get annoyed at the spam.

Meh, your average signature. :\ +1 me now for my mediocre signature now.

Well then there's probably a good reason they're not a moderator anymore.
After seeing many bad/wrong section threads in the Discussion/Suggestion sub-forum, I applied for moderator and reported those threads, and in the next day, there's a hundread of moved/closed topics.
Was it from my reporting spree, or a mod readed my application and decided to prove me that there are enough Discussion/Suggestion mods?
You can apply to become a moderator, not an admin.

That's what a few mods said a couple of days ago. So I think it does.
Never knew that, but you usually see a Thread in the wrong section at least once every hour.
One minute, I didn't see any bad threads, next I have seen spam threads, wrong section threads and heck.. even a "herobine is real" thread.

I usually only report redundant Suggestions.
I think it depends on what they report on. If they report something that it is perfectly fine, then they're wasting the Mods time.

Not.
It's much easier to get reports than actually scout it out yourself, it makes our jobs easier
