That means you posted in the wrong section. If you did some research before posting your other topic, you would have found the unmodified client section. Which is where people who know about how the client works hang out. Here, in MInecraft Discussion, it's more about talking about the gameplay of minecraft. But it is one of the most misused sections of this forums, as you can probably tell from all the moved topics. I blame this on the 'vague' description of what is supposed to be talked about it. (I say 'vague' because the description is fine, but people don't bother to read all of it.)
"General discussion about Minecraft, minecraft development". A lot of people, when they see this, immediately think : "Well, my luncher problems are connected to Minecraft, since I'm trying to run Minecraft." Of course it's not only those people who use this forum wrongly, a lot of people do, and for a very simple reason too. If people bothered to read to the end of the forum description, they would see this.
"and anything that doesn't fit into the other specific sections." This is where everything goes to hell. A lot of people don't read this, or are just too lazy to bother searching themselves for the right section. Okay, okay, of course, some things are hard to decide where they belong, and if you really can't find a section where it would fit better, just post it here and a mod will take care of it. But please, before you end up relying on the mods to do the work for you, just give the forums a little read, and I can assure you, 99% of the time, you'll find a section that would fit your topic better.
i couldn't think of what to type here, so just read this instead
and why do you triple post?
