Try clearing out your cache or cookies. Also, do a malware scan just to be safe.
It hasn't happened with me yet which leads me to believe you're being fished by a cookie or something.
i dont think i will ever change my avatar because i really like this one unless i decide to change it to steam bot willy so i wouldnt know if this is a problem with the forums. sorry wish i could help.

Sorry, viruses are kind of my freak-out trigger.
i just got the pop up from going to that post .-. hopefully i didnt get a virus from that post. some admin or tech support should check it out and quarintine it till it is confirmed safe.

I ran a full Avast scan to be safe, doesn't appear to have given me a virus. Although, I agree it should be quarantined until an admin can confirm it safe.
Its not a virus. Its a HTTP Authentication Required prompt, at no point did I say it was a virus.
Someone set up a web server to require authentication before allowing access to content, but they are trying to display an image from that site which won't work unless a correct username and password is entered.

A username and password are being requested by http://www.nninecraft.tk. The site says: "This part of the site requires you to relogin"
With fields marked "Username" and "Password".Being a sensible person I clicked Cancel, but what is this? Is the site infected?
