Hi, I'm fairly new to this forum so I have the member title "Out of the Water."
Recently I've learned that the next title is "Tree Puncher" but I think it should be Sand Digger.
Although punching trees is essentially the first thing most minecrafters would do, I think Sand Digger is a more suitable title to follow "Out of the Water." Simply because a primitive minecrafter would not instantly go to punching trees, they would more likely break a few blocks first.
So why not call the title Grass Digger? Well, in most cases when your getting "Out of the Water" a player might be closer to sand.
As a member who has seen many of the fine ranks on this forums, I can't do anything but agree.
Unless you have played Minecraft before, you are not going to instantly be searching for trees.
If the Minecraft forums wants to effectively simulate a Minecraft player's experience, they will go with this change.
I have to agree with you. Punching down a tree was not the first thing I did when I first started playing.
My instinct was to grab the most common resource around(dirt) and make a house out of it with a pretty flower on top.
I think Dirt Digger would be a fantastic title.

Kingdoms rise and fall. Just don't burn the paintings in the Louvre, that's all.
i broke the 100% for the sand digger
PERSONALLY: i never spawn in the water so i spawn next to trees and i punch them so i voted tree puncher.
IF YOU WANT TO, CLASSIFY THIS AS A TROLL.. but im serious
Something I could easily live without, but I like the idea. Although, the first thing I did when I played Minecraft for the first time was run into cave and a creeper exploded all over me...
So for me it would have to be "Monster Victim".
But Sand Digger is a better title than Tree Puncher, so +1 to you.
I agree with you, after all when I first started up minecraft I put it on hard (thinking that, well I was stupid) and I didnt know what to do, so I broke some dirt blocks, and died! (My first night: attacked by two spiders, shot by a skeleton, and eaten by a zombie, then on day two I learned about Creepers!)

I live and I survive by my clansmen. I would gladly pick up a sword in for them. LONG LIVE ENDERWOLF!
Not to contradict but literally the first thing I did when I started Minecraft was to punch a tree. I may be the exception, though, since I watched the entire tutorial series from paulsoaresjr prior to buying the game.
I think punching trees would be the first thing someone would do. But if its there first time playin, then it would probably be a whole different story.

I immediately searched for trees when I first played too. But, similarly, I watched Yogscast before I bought it.
I went punching trees first, though I was watching yogscast, and captainsparkles, when I first played they reallt didnt have that much survival episodes so I did what my instincts said, but after I built a tiny house I hadnt learned about torches and mobs.....

Honestly, of the dozens or possibly hundreds of Minecraft worlds I've played, I've only spawned in the water a few times. So even "out of the water" doesn't make much sense in simulating the progression of a Minecrafter. Personally I'd swap "Out of the Water" for "Monster Victim" and "Tree Puncher" for "Dirt Digger."
But if you want to get really technical, the title "Lapis Lazuli Collector" probably shouldn't exist either, because lapis serves so little purpose that nobody makes an effort to collect it...
