To the Admins: I opened a ticket on your "support" site on 04/13/11 that has yet to be even acknowledged.
That's 1 full month this Friday. What is happening? Why even have the option to open a ticket if they are simply ignored? I mean SOME response would be nice but I got nothing.
Are you able to provide me with something on this issue? By the way, the last time I posted a message about this is was locked within 4 minutes.
I would have stopped caring about that by now, and assume it was going to be ignored.
Clealy that is what they base their "support" system on. I'm not going to give up yet, however. If they have a support site it needs to work. If not, take it down and don't pretend.
It was about biased mods...or at least inconsistant. I was banned for something that was done at least 5 times in the same thread and no one else was even warned. I want the situation investigated and at least some of my warning level removed.
Sadly the admins simply ignore all tickets. I'm pretty confident saying this due to the large number of posts on the support site (and on these forums) saying the exact same thing. Again, if you have a support site it should work. Otherwise simply take it down and stop pretending there is some kind of process in place. It's clear there is no process.

You got caught because you got reported. We simply don't have time to read through every thread a reported post is in. You could have reported all of the other posts and they would have also been warned. If you did, and think that they we'ren't delt with correctly, I'd suggest pinging a moderator or admin in IRC. Our channel is #minecraftforums on irc.esper.net

So...the ticket system is simply lip service? You recommend the IRC channel. You've done that in a few other posts I have noticed.
Incidently a system that relys on forum users reporting other forum users is...in a word ridiculous. It's also ripe for abuse. You have to see that, right?
If I understand your suggestion is as follows: If you feel you were wrongly banned report all the other posts in that thread (it's been 26 days remember) that you feel were also warning worthy. After that if the moderators take no action contact us via IRC for assistance?
That's ludicrous. I have a counter suggestion. Work your tickets on the support site you provide in a timely fashion. Oh, and don't rely on spiteful forums users to report other users. That's a no-brainer.
[sarcasm] Oh yes, we should not rely on our users. That makes sense. Instead we should comb through several thousand posts a day manually to look for abusive posts. That's an incrediblt time effective way to adress problems! [/sarcasm]
Seriously, even if we added 10 new moderators, Beta Survival still gets too many posts per day to be moderated in such a way, you see that, right?
No, the ticket system is not up for "show". I'm just saying that if you have an urgent problem or want to discuss specific threads (which is what I was talking about in other threads) it's the best way because of fast response and easy back and forth communication.

I have seen no proof that the ticketing system isn't up for "show". My ticket hasn't even been acknowledged for 26 days. There are tons of messages on that support site that say other peoeple are having similar issues. People on these forums are saying the same thing.
At any point have my posts indicated that my world will end if I don't get an answer? Let me answer for you. No, they haven't.

It's pointless having this discussion with you. You can't do anything about my ticket. Only the admins can and they refuse to do so. That said, I wouldn't be offended if you just stopped responding in this thread, msmit71.

It's just a figure of speach. Perhaps I should have said "It's not that big of a deal." I guess I'll stop posting then.

FOUR MINUTES...must not be too busy, eh?

And what is "reasonable time" to you?
Reasonable time for what? A ticket?
Yep
Unanswered support ticket =\= end of world
