Modern browsers are beginning to require https across every page of a website, they are warning users that the website is insecure otherwise. This is a good thing (as https is important) but at this time it's not viable for us to switch to https across the website for advertising reasons. As I understand it, we're working towards being able to do this -- and already some of the website in our network are https only -- but in the meantime we do serve sensitive pages (such as login and account management) over https and without advertisements. This is a good middle ground as it ensures your credentials are always secured, but certainly long term we'd love to have the whole website served over https.
The reason browsers are now labelling connections over http as insecure isn't because anything has changed with http, it's still as (in)secure as it has always been, this forum is as secure today as it was 6 months ago, rather it's because browser vendors wish to cause a shift in understanding about the insecurity of http for consumers and incentivise providers into serving their websites over https.
My browser is blocking some not secured content like images and videos.
So I have to disable the protection.

Fixed! There was a system in place to do this upgrade automatically but it was misconfigured -- it's been fixed now, you should see embeds again now. Please let me know if you run into any other problems. Thanks for the patience!
It appears that MinecraftForums HTTPS is not working.

Just a quick update, the site was moved to new infrastructure today and as part of that https has now been enabled site-wide

Are you able to link me to an example page where you're experiencing this? Thank you.
Can't see videos in this page unless I disable protection each times.
