When you're making a new post, it's that little green button that's next to "Add a poll".
I've been trying to post some images into another topic, but I can't figure out how to get the images up into the body of the post after I upload them.
I've googled it, and all I can find are people talking about uploading to Imgur or Tinypic or ImageShack or whatever, then linking it back onto the forum thread.
I tried dragging the file from the attachments section up into the body of the post, and I tried clicking the "Insert/edit image" button that's between "Blockquote" and "Insert a spoiler", but the former didn't work, and the latter seems to want a URL or something.
So how do I use this button properly? It *IS* for putting pictures in your post, right?
The "Upload an Image" button is for attaching images to your post, you can't then directly include these images in the body of your post with any of the built in functions: they display at the bottom as attachments. You can however manually include them in your post, using the url of the attachment, like so:
1. Upload the image
2. After the image has been uploaded right click on the thumbnail and click "Copy Link Address"
3. Open the image embed dialog and paste the URL
You must keep the images as attachments, as if you delete them then the image will be removed and it will no longer show in your post.
