I try to remove what I can but I'm not as nocturnal as I used to be (the general time frame this spam tends to come around). Remember that this spam is a daily occurrence. Once I sleep...
D:
I'm one of the only MD mods that's awake late night as far as I can tell (US-wise).
I just had to report one that said "lovemarriagespecialist jflkahfigoadhsiogiodfago;iadjklfjo'iadgikadifnga'pjgo]djfaoighklsdhfgiosdhaoigfhdioshngoidfhoighio;dafgio" only it had about 200 lines of random gibberish and a random picture attatched. i am so sick of these, and hope that something is done about it.
Occasional ones might make it through but a good 90%+ are automatically being caught by the spam filter. They aren't marked instantly but are usually marked as spam within 30 seconds of being created. It's not really necessary to report them until they've been around for 2 or more minutes (to assume the spam filter did not catch it).
If the spam filter was not doing its job you'd see things like an entire page of spam threads (especially once nighttime hits). It was happening last night as well. It happens every day.
Do you have any staff on in Asia?
Don't happy first! As far as i can tell, it's organized. Maybe they know when mods are offline. It'll happened today, so be prepared!
I'm a programmer. I use C/C++, BASIC, Assembly, and Python. If i sound too technicial, that's because it's the way i think.
My Suggestions
Well, i was wrong. Maybe that attack is an (not funny) April Fools.

Well, they are back...again.
