i would love to see a feature where the author of a post could moderate his/her own thread.Where they can delete threads by people that shouldnt be on it like this if you this this would be cool :3
This is probably never going to happen, because then people would just be able to censor anyone who disagrees with them. We can only delete posts if they don't follow the established rules, and staff members are chosen especially for that job based on their understanding and following of the rules. Giving this ability to everyone would only end very very badly.

what if you set up a system where you have to have so many posts or be a certain rank to unlock the feature?
What limit would you suggest? Because I know users who break the rules and would love the ability to censor others who have 5 posts, 50 posts, 500 posts, 1000 posts, 2000 posts, and even up into the 10000+ posts.
Post count does not equate to maturity or the willingness to follow rules.

And, before it's suggested, neither does reputation or any other number associated with any given account.

This will never happen due to the fact it would be abused greatly. People hate negative feedback, even if it is needed, so they would remove it. it would only cause problems.
