i went in the nether to explore
and when i got back the poratal took me to another place
what to do?

This has happened to my friend. He came out of the nether and ANOTHER PORTAL SPAWNED. so what he did was... ready? he walked back to his base and story ends there
unfortunately this problem continued, so he expanded his base over to the portal via minecart
