So I decided to try out Photorealism, and I got 5 fps. When I had f3 on, I ended up getting 30-40? I would keep it on all the time, but the performance graph is annoying, but I'm wondering, what makes the fps increase so much?
I'm playing SMP and am pressing f3 as soon as I join. Actually, for some odd reason without f3 I can run smoothly, but when entering a junction of my base I start stuttering again. Perhaps it has to load chunks, but still, how the bloody nether does f3 change that?
sorry i dont use any mods, but i beleive this is correct
hmm you could increase resolution and that will make the graph smaller, mine is tiny, but of course that really wont help your fps issues
or maybe it will they way yours is all resource backwards
it should take out the graph only, if you have optifog
thnx for posting that doozy, i dont know how i missed that, i read the topic. obviously not very well i guess
It's odd I guess. Thanks for the help guys.
e: f3 lets me run 128x texture pack,I guess that outweighs not being able to see chat :smile.gif:
but i assumed the blocks behind it would still be rendered, just covered by another layer
When i Had a HD texture pack i lagged but when i had F3 i dident
