I haven't been crafting long. My son got the xbox one for Christmas 2 years ago, asked me to play with him, and i'm hooked. I started building forts, castles, etc. That got old quick and my ideas dried up quick as well. So I was hoping to spark creativity by building something familiar to me.
I was a truck driver, and currently work for a company that has trucks. So, I decided to build one of them.
I still have some details to sort out, but as of now it has working lights, and the reefer unit on the trailer turns on and off with a switch.
Size wise, it is huge. There are rivets that hold the floor bracing to the side rails of the trailer. Those rivets are one block.
I'd never done this before, and I wanted to build something besides a building. I took a bunch of different pictures of the trucks at my work, and started building with the trailer. I picked the HUGE size because I wanted detail. The rivets on the trailer frame are one block.
Built on xbox One.
I wasn't sure how to begin, so I just started with a box, and my wheel size, and went from there.
I even added all the cross braces under the floor inside the trailer. This is the view from inside while building. The floor has not been installed yet. It will lay across the top of the braces.

I never drove one but around Semi's daily and that looks awesome and close to the real deal.
Nothing can go here but time itself.
That looks amazing. You're too good.
Thanks guys.
