You could drop the CPU fan if you don't plan on overclocking right away and replace it later. Would give you a bit more money to put toward the GPU or something else.

I'm sure i'll be overclocking pretty soon after I get it, so i'll invest in it now.

Hey droid =D
i would say to get a little higher budget and get the VH238H monitor for 40$ more.
Because your current screen is really bad. It is 5ms response time (not bad really) but it's not HD 1080p it's only 1600x900 D=
I'd get a better monitor

IMO, if he dropped down to the 50-60 buck case ranges "some good ones there also", he could up to a better monitor. 5MS to 2MS, you will notice it in games, belive me.

Is this better.
Ignore Microcenter, the nearest one is one and a half hours away, i'm getting it off NCIX.
Not built in speakers...
Plus that's still 5ms, and games like dirt 3, bf3 and stuff will look better with 2ms and not get blurry

I am now aware of that now am I. So really, I cannot suggest anything that can lower the price to allow the monitor to be upgraded now. Stuck with the build as is, no changes to what I can see can be done.
Those are really good monitors, I have a 23" version, with the Ring stand "and slightly different looks". They are very smooth and can Over trace to 1ms response time and really quality display.
If it fits into your budget, you are all set then.

This was my build, until I needed peripherals.
Could save 5 bucks if you drop and get the 1333Mhz Ripjaws X memory.
Drop the motherboard to the ASRock Z77 Pro4, 10 bucks saved at most.
Graphics Card, will come back to that after some comparing and thinking. "probably can stay the same"
All I can think at moment to say.
