Depending on your cardholder your card might be flagged as stolen or for fraud upon checkout, it's processed as if you swiped the card in Canada when you, clearly, did not. NCIX warns you about this at checkout, but not very vividly.
Flagging for fraud/stolen may or may not lock said card for purchases and make it unusable until you clear it up.
If your card is flagged just go to your bank and explain the situation, should take 2 seconds. Or call the number the fraud prevention services leave you a message from and enter the code they give you over the phone.
I've ordered from them before but this is the first time it flagged my card.
Note: this does not apply if you pay via CC/debit via paypal.
Even worse for me - I was going down to see some family in Georgia for a week, so I had them deliver it to there instead of our registered billing address because I'm that guy who does that kind of stuff. I literally called them up 5 minutes later and they said they already cancelled the card because of those two hard drives I ordered.

i5 4670k @ 4.9GHz - Stock Heatsink - The rest is melted silicon but I think I have a graphics card in there somewhere It surprises me how many people on this forum can't read benchmarks.
I've always had problems ordering from NCIX. My family's primary card doesn't work at all, but a secondary card (of the same company, no less) works fine.
to be honest, the international shipping option isn't all that interesting considering shipping is way to expensive.. you can usually get cheaper deals locally.
It's not shipping, it's the credit/debit card transaction.
It is still shipping from California, however, if you do not use the paypal checkout it warns you "depending on when your order is processed, it might appear as an international transaction on your bank statements" since NCIX is a Canadian company, the payment will be processed in Canada.
What it doesn't tell you though is that this can trigger the fraud/stolen card systems your bank/cardholder have set up.
They say on their site (or at least they said it) that they'll soon be moving order processing facilities to their shipping facility in California. No word the progress there.

It's said that for over a year.
Considering their shipping facilities are already fully functional, it shouldn't really take so long.

I did pay with my paypal account that's linked to my bank account though, so technically I didn't even use my card =P

Nothing was shipped internationally.
