Hello! In this tutorial I will be showing you how to install Millenaire and MineColony using Magic Launcher!
Step 0: Make sure that both mods are up to date with the version of Minecraft you are using. At the time of writing the most recent version of Minecraft is 1.2.4. In theory, this method should work with future updates unless something unexpected occurs. In that case I will edit as neccesary. Stars (*) denote especially important information. Now onto the good stuff!
Create a folder anywhere on your computer (I used the Desktop) and rename it MagicLauncher Mods. Now place all of the mods from Step 1 EXCEPT Millenaire and MineColony into it. Using Win-RAR or 7-zip (Recommend 7-zip) extract the contents of Millenaire and MineColony to the MagicLauncher Mods folder.
Open the folder Millénaire 2.4.7 -> Put in minecraft.jar (if Forge absent) and highlight everything found in there. Right click and select "Send to... -> (Compressed) zip folder". Rename the zip file as "forge" (do not capitalize the f) and place it in the MagicLauncher Mods folder. Now open the Millénaire 2.4.7 -> put in the minecraft folder folder and copy the contents to your .minecraft folder. After that open the Millénaire 2.4.7 -> Put in the mods folder and cut the zip folder found in there and paste it into the MagicLauncher Mods folder.
Now onto Minecolony! Open the folder MineColony rc18 and install it normally (e.g. place the contents of the folder "put in the minecraft/resources/mods folder" and place it into its respective folder).
Ah ha! The magic begins now with the magnificent MagicLauncher! Open MagicLauncher and click Setup. Click Add and find the MagicLauncher Mods folder. Add the mods in this exact order: ModLoader, Forge,(optional)OptiFine, Millenaire. If you mess up you can simply use the up and down buttons to rearrange the order.
Make sure that the external mods option is checked and that all of the internal mods are checked as active. In the external mods section you should see MineColony. Make sure that it is checked as active.
Thats it! Hit the test button to make sure you did everything right. If everything loads then you're done. Click ok to exit Setup and login as you normally would using MagicLauncher. Thank you for reading this Tutorial!

When I add the Forge zip into Magic Launcher, it says 'no mods found'. I compressed it just how you said so idk.
AH yes I've made a mistake. Its not from the src folder but instead from the "Put in minecraft.jar (if Forge absent)" that you do it. Try that it should work.

It says that.. "The millenaire directory could not be found. It should be inside the minecraft directory along side "bin"." What does it mean?
You get the error from MagicLauncher?
EDIT: Oh wait are you sure that you followed the instruction "Now open the Millénaire 2.4.7 -> Put in the minecraft folder folder and copy the contents to your .minecraft folder."? "Put in the minecraft folder" Is a folder found in the Millénaire 2.4.7 folder.

No, when I open the game instead of telling me like "this is how you search for villages, etc" for millenaire.. It gives me that
So when I hit V it says command.noknowvillage
etc..
EDIT: Oh!!! I Thought maybe I put the whole folder in. I fixed it, thanks alot!

Was just wondering.. Why the folder? Can't you just find the .zip file on your desktop and have magic launcher put it in?
( Did that with REI's minimap.)
Also, if I wanted to install " Mo creatures" would I do it the same way as you have done with Minecolony and Millenaire?

I double check and metainf is deleted. what should i do?

Yep I tried it and it works. Just install as usual, except all the files for the minecraft jar simply add to the Magic Launcher list. NOTE: Not sure why but the mob spawner zip say no mods found but it works anyways XD

I have the Millenaire mod installed by Magiclauncher with the modloader addition. My son and I play survival mode just fine, but once my son goes into his world on creative mode, it goes in and then says "saving chunks" and we get an error.
The tell of the tape is below:
Mods loaded: 4
ModLoader 1.2.5
mod_Millenaire 2.7.2
mod_airship Airships V2.5 for Post-Release: 1.2.3
mod_steamboat Steamboat 1.0 for Post-Release 1.2.3
