Looks like my server finally came back online. I managed to DL a backup copy as I've already moved on. I did notice that they have added Vanilla 1.6.2 to the Multicraft dropdown menu. Somebody is running things there still but that's not enough to keep me there after over a month of downtime.
Hello again. It's John from back when Dasweb, the original owner of FPSBox, ran things. Like my original post in this thread stated, I was one of the support staff working for Dasweb. If you ever used the live chat feature back in those days, you probably talked to me at one point or another.
Since then, we've learned little of what happened to the current owner. Rumors suggest that he ended up in the hospital with some sort of injury or sickness. Many FPSBox nodes seemed to be unresponsive at last check. Beyond some small recent activity, there doesn't seem to be any more news on the matter.
And while we know that the current owner's health issues have hindered his hosting efforts, it saddens us that FPSBox has fallen into such disarray. We put a great deal of effort into the FPSBox brand.
After several failed attempts to contact the current owner of FPSBox, Dasweb has decided to launch a new minecraft server hosting company built around the original principles that made FPSBox so great to begin with.
We hope that you all have found a server host that meets your needs. Take care.
Please fix it ASAP!
