I currently have two minecraft accounts and I am having trouble getting both to remain in the "existing user" dropdown menu when you first start the new launcher. In order to log in my alt I always have to type in the email/username and password. Is there a way to get both of my accounts in the "existing User" menu, so that all I have to do is choose from there?
I'm talking about right after you start the launcher and it says:
"You're already logged in as [account name].
You may use this account and skip authentication. Existing User:
[Dropdown menu]"
How do I add more accounts to this Existing User dropdown menu?

You can click whichever option to that message. The next time you open your launcher it should bring you to a news page with a status bar at the bottom. On the far left there are profile buttons. Click the one that says "New Profile" and add that with your alt account. Then to switch between accounts just use the drop down menu to select which account you would like to use.

For me though this use of the different profiles does not always work. Also, since both accounts use different versions of MC it will often confuse the two, such as giving one account 1.6.2, when it is supposed to have another. This would be much simpler if I could add my other account to the Existing User dropdown menu.
