New blocks, different color shades are always nice. More variety, and new builds that will feature these blocks...can't wait to see what will come of these.
Horses + dyed clay = this is going to be the best minecraft release ever. I almost hope they don't add too much for stuff, because I'm dying for the official release.

Well, if 1.5 is any indication of what's coming in 1.6, there is probably going to be massive overhauls in the game mechanics.
Last week when I was updating my texture pack, I thought * mojang should improve the texture of the block lapis lazuli, lapis lazuli item, quartz item and coal
While I'm glad we get new building blocks, when is Mojang going to start focusing on the underwater and atmospheric content? It desperately needs improvements/additions.
The good:
*Stained hardened clay: This will add a lot of potential for builders. I'm definitely planning to use this. I can't say dying clay makes much sense, but it's still aesthetically pleasing.
*New Lapiz Block texture: It looks absolutely awesome!
The Bad:
*New Charcoal texture: It really doesn't fit well in my honest opinion. I might just retexture it to be coal in my default texture pack edit.
*New Coal Block texture: It looks too much like obsidian and/or crying obsidian.
The Meh:
*"Made mobs spawn in groups again": I thought they already did, but I guess I was mistaken.
Donkey/Mule inventories: I don't plan on using horses and mules (Retextured horses), so this doesn't affect me. Besides, if I want a moveable inventory, I'll just carry an enderchest and silk touch pick.
The new textures are pretty nice. I thought the old lapis texture was fine, but the new one isn't too bad. Though, I must say, the new coal block texture will be nice for making street pavement!

I usually have a neutral/undecided standpoint on things. And yes, I am part Swiss.
Stained glass would be awesome too!
It's obviously the Redstone Bug mob from Minecraft 2.0.
I think (dont quote me on this) thats Grumm.
Dude, it will come in due time. Lots of new mobs don't have their sounds until the official updates anyway.

Well, she did much good, liked
This is weird... I have no Idea what it is.. Maybe a hidden update?
Seth il' figure it out XD

NOTE: This idea is not mine. I got this idea from VintageBeef!
Change the way The wool and clay is colored to the same system the Leather armor uses.
I se no negitives here just positives.
1. 1 texture to use.
2. 1 item id used.
3. More colors.
4. More happy people!
If it's impossible then how was it done for the leather armor?
In fact, it looks like... a ladybug!
Sweet!
EDIT: Danggit, it's just the Grum boss mob!
because leather armor is stored in a different way....
