Redstone is way too common for that, so I'd say 90% chance it won't, the idea with beacon is for its effect to be hard to max. They didn't say anything about something like this anyway.
Fortresses are bugged as heck. the parts aren't connected, and i keep taking random damage, sometimes i can't move, and the occasional block turns into nether brick in the area.
It took about 20 hours over 2 days, but I updated my texture pack to work with this new format. I only wish this was done sooner. I can't wait to see what we get next from Mojang.
So many updates to add new objects or to fix certain crashes. Minecraft has to come out with a single update for fixing lag. Most of the options implemented in the Optifine mod would be perfectly compatible with Minecraft, and would help a number of people reduce this lag that they have with their old computers. I realize this mod is almost always up to date, but it seems common sense to implement these options into vanilla minecraft this way it remains in the game whenever a new update/snapshot is released.
*edited to fix post*
:/ that's crappy. I was stupidly happy with that function.
