Not the best addition, but still cool, hope the API and the terrain update isn't that far too

Cool addition for the holidays. Mojang should also add some more fun holiday treats like Present Blocks (like Pumpkins), and being able to also place the Nether Star on top of a tree. Maybe being able to place boots as stockings that you could store stuff in. Still, can't wait 'til this update!
i like new stuff and all , i just dont want it to get out of hand , i would like the fire works to be as minecrafty as possible (creeper face fire work FTW) i hope they have a Christmas update and call it the "pretty jollly update" have the diffenrt layered snow enabled , and stuff like dat

If the cake is a lie........ does that mean if i build a house out of cake my house isn't real?
Your sense of style is pathetic , I always look to java programers for style , because where ever they are , they always have .class.
so what exactly are the bugs they fixed, and what bugs are still in? like is the flickering minecarts still there and is the fps still lower compared to 1.4.2. Im still in 1.4.2 because of those 2 particular bugs in general
The Minecart movement as well as the Falling Block entity movement is now interpolated again. Never noticed a framerate drop so can't say whether it will be fixed for you if you encountered one.
Looks like something Vhecs would do. He'd enchant boks and paper and other stuff

Please come check out my channel. I'm new to YouTube and do Minecraft and other games. My channel name is Temido2222. Views and subs would be appreciated!
I'm probably doing this wrong, but the snapshot won't work...
So I've downloaded the zip file and it's just filled with all the class files and textures etc. So I'm guessing I need to move all those files into the minecraft.jar. So I delete all the files in minecraft.jar and then try to replace them with the ones in the zip. But I keep getting the error that it can't copy over the file "aux" I have no freaking clue what I'm doing wrong, if someone could help me I would appreciate it.

What you really have to do is delete minecraft.jar then turn your new minecraft.zip into a JAR file...
