When i look in .minecraft, i don't see a see a folder called "server" can someone please help?

um when i put the minecraft.jar and i load up minecraft it goes done loading it ends up being stuck at done loading if you now how to fix it pls help me that would be very helpful thanks

so i clicked client download so now do i just play?

No. You copy the jar into the client .minecraft/bin directory. The latest snapshot is 12w27a from www.mojang.com on the home page.

Maybe wait until August 1 when the full 1.3 release is scheduled to come out and the install should be hassle free.
