Wow. Minecraft gets destroyed. More and more.
It´s the most unbalanced update I have seen so far.
I mean, I like the pyramids, and the new (aestaetic) blocks, but the ender chest should be made of endstone. The enderchest should be available as an reward.
Even more, the Dispenser is now a magic well. How can a machine, made with an bow (!!!!) spit Water/Lava!?!?
Jeb, don´t give the player too much power, it just ruins the game.
Don´t make it too easy for the players.
Wow. People are just complaining so much about developement.
Its one of the best snapshots ive seen so far.
Pyramids are awesome, and the ender chest is very useful and shouldnt be an award because there arent very many rewards in minecraft except XP.
Even more, the despensers are now a magic well. HOW COOL IS THAT!!!!!!!!?
Jeb youre doing an awesome job developing.
Keep it up
Don't know if this was in before, but now we have text selection. You have to use shift+left/right arrow depending what you want to select. You can only copy and cut with it at the moment paste and delete keys don't work.
Okay. I would ramble on about how Ender Chests defeat the point in chest minecarts. But I'm not going to. Instead I'm going to ramble on about Single Player - Multiplayer. There's no point in it. None at all. It lags your game and means you have to download terrain all the time. There is severs for a reason.
1. Its not done yet. Atleast wait till its done.
2. There is a reason. Now more people can make local servers without having to do all that mind-bogling crap. There would actually be a reason to build epic things on singleplayer, to show them to your friends.
3. Jeb will probably add a offline mode ( a mode that is single singleplayer).
4. If you dont like anything in 1.3, dont use the snapshots and dont update to 1.3
But please stop complaining about something thats not been finished yet.
Quite an enjoyable update. Only downside is from what I've heard, emerald ore is almost impossible to find(although I haven't checked). And someone mentioned a glitch with the tnt traps exploding too early. Not to mention I still don't like how you need a server file to play single player. Although since it didn't come with one, I'm hoping it's being changed in the next version or so.
And unlike a lot of people it seems..I like the new gravel texture. It'll take a bit to get used to, but I never really liked the old one.
Everything else is awesome.
I would like to know however, when basic MELON SEEDS, are going to be easier to get. I'd think by now, melons would be easier to find above ground. I don't think something as simple as melon seeds should be some overly hidden away treasure underground..they're melons. I'd think by now, they'd start spawning like pumpkins.. Or at least have them planted in villages along with wheat... Villages being more common would be nice too, especially now that trading is added.
Has anyone actually noticed that the Emeralds look a lot like The Legend of Zelda currency, Rupees? And that Emeralds are a trading currency for villagers? Anybody?
Oh, and I don't know if this was noted in a previous snapshot, but my texture pack I made for this snapshot doesn't work.
Not sure if it's been mentioned, but I've noticed a slight bug. When shearing sheep, they all look white and once you shear them and they eat some grass to grow it back, it grows back as their "true" colour. The wool that comes off when you shear them is their "true" colour as well.

Pointless?
Do you even know what it does?
It saves inventories between chests, so you can transfer items between them, and thats really useful if you dont wanna go home to deposit your stuff.
they are actually very useless if you like playing multiplayer

am i the only one who loves the new gravel texture? I always hated the old one though and i think this one looks nice and will actually look better along side the stone/cobble with its grey colour.

Mojang is known for refferencing random games. Jeb probably was playing Zelda when he was texturing them.
What do they mean <possible tnt traps in world?>
Like random mines i guess?(the bomb kind not holes in the ground :P)
Awesome

I quite like it, certainly looks more smoother than the old horrible one.
My sister found out, under the blue wool (or was it orange?) in a pyramid, a TNT trap is hidden away, along with a couple of chests filled with diamonds, gold, etc.

I was doing that in 1.2.5 just recently.
Pie is delicious. That is all.

another bug to add to the list:
Grey Sheep don't seem to naturally spawn anymore, instead all ones that SHOULD be grey are white, and drop grey wool. :c

Really? i've been playing this snapshot for a bit and haven't seen a single piece of lag. My computer isn't the best, an old Core 2 Duo w/ 4GB RAM.

Likely land mines.
*steps on one right after*
Nooooooo...
I already know about that mod, I was just being humorous.
