I just wish they would bring back the old Singleplayer saving system! What ever happened to the "Saving Chunks" screen??
I honestly think that Singleplayer is getting ****ed up beyond belief. Also, when I installed this snapshot and loaded my Survival world, my entire inventory was deleted! I can't even restore my player.dat file back to a previous state with Windows, because when I do, Minecraft just overwrites the file, respawning me without my items (as if I died).
I'm really getting pissed off. What the **** is Mojang thinking? Do they really think that getting rid of the "Saving Chunks" screen helps?
I think Mojang is doing too many retarded things to Minecraft. MOJANG, PLEASE FIX SINGLEPLAYER!!
You do realize they always warn with snapshot downloads that saves may be corrupted as a result. It's not mojang's fault your saves got corrupted.
Besides the villagers deleting options after 3 trades, I'm liking this snapshot.
I feel like deleting a trade is unrealistic in the sense that people who want to make market places run by villagers will no longer be able to do so. I mean, when you trade with someone a lot, doesn't that mean they like you more so they're willing to trade with you more.
I mean, they already keep updating the prices of some of their wares, they don't need to stop giving you stuff.
And its not as OP as it seems, seeing as how it takes forever to actually accumulate a large amount of emeralds from past experience.
Some people don't want to trade for 5 iron tools before being allowed to trade for 3 diamond picks and then have to get more iron boots and stuff....

Well uhm.. I see what you are saying but it's a good thing it is the way it is. I think that way you are playing the the game completely, In other words lets say a villager offers you 19 wheat for an emerald, you are consistently going for the wheat but with this feature added you might consider going for leather, raw beef etc. etc. keep the game exciting, and not plain/repetitive. >_<
Redwire can run up blocks when placed on stairs but can't run down from the stairs, weren't we able to place redstone on double slabs since it just acts as one block and not a half slab? Cause it'd be way better if you could place redstone on an actual half slab, found this really useless since well.. You just told us what we could already do.
If Mojang is watching this thread. Please add Plaster Half-Block Slabs! These could be placed vertically just like window panes (block ID 102). They could be made by combining colored wools with clay. They can be used for things like exteriror building materials and interior walls.
What I'm curious about is when 1.3 comes out... How will the hosting work with Mods? Does this mean you only need to have the Client Mods, eliminating the entire point of Mod Authors making a server version of their mods for Multiplayer? Or would there be a Server.jar in the bin along with the Minecraft.jar where you would add the server mods? That's something that's been nagging me for a while. And nice to see you taking some of RP2's ideas with the Redstone on the roof, does this also mean Redstone now runs vertical?

We don't need every mod out there in vanilla Minecraft. Plus plaster is just not something that flows with Minecraft. Just mod.

If you buy picks from him is he gonna have infinite picks? I don't think so. And do you think someone who has bought a stack of wheat going to buy more from you? It only makes sense that this 3-per-deal rule exists.
I know that coloured fences wouldn't really be possible because they are crafted with sticks, but maybe different fence colours can be crafted by adding a differently coloured plank into the crafting grid when making them. It would make them cost more, but we would have our wish of coloured fences.

I honestly think it makes sense with both opinions. On one hand they won't have infinite items, but on the other hand it doesn't seem right that they would just delete the trade. I think that Mojang should take off the three-per-deal idea. instead they could add a suspension option. So that after a few trades it should "lock" a trade for a few minutes. This would be more realistic than either one of those opinions. Because if a merchant has a product being sold very often then the merchant would make an effort to keep that item in stock. When out of stock, they have to sop trade with that item so that the could restock. 3:00 or so would be reasonable.

Thanks for your 2 cents.. But honestly, I dont care what your opinion is. Im of the opinion that the more block types the better. More blocks = more creativity. I'm not trying to be argumentative... but YES, there was plaster in Medieval / Fantasy
