This week, David & Toby talk about the 1.2.5, including details about the numerous bugfixes, minor tweaks and additions, such as block selection in Creative, less amorous villagers and such. They also discuss Pocket Edition, Notch's most recent game project, and more - take a look!
Funny how they try and make a simple bugfix update that is causing more trouble in the community than it is worth sound like a really cool new addition to the game. And until they start imbedding the videos, I wont be watching many of them (especially these news videos, we have minecraft monday show for that!).

Isn't this basically the last 3 news/announcements... just all jumbled into 1 post now? A bit redundant if you ask me... :\ Either way, congrats on 25 Million users and hoping 1.2.5 is as good as they say it is, although I believe Jeb is steppin' up his game finally. So I'm expecting good things to come for now.
Keep up the great work to all the people at Mojang.

I cant wait for crafting in MC : PE! Tip you should use the cross hair in the videos for it. Hope for phones its a couple taps and tablets get tapn drag to interact more. Hope something like this WILL HAPPEN! :-\:-[
can anyone tell me, is it true that the modding api will be released in 1.2.6, which is supposedly relasing in 2-3 weeks?
1.2.6 will never be released. The next release is going to be 1.3(.0?)
If there would be a betting pool around for me to chip in my $0.02, I would put down about the last week of June when that comes out... so don't hold your breathe for the API.
Something that really does need to be put into this announcement however: Notch has given a name to his new game: Mars Effect!

I really think it is...
Take a look at the Copyright.
The game itself isn't.... well not so much. I love the "Lorem Ipsum" text and other little pieces in this webpage.
Much of it includes things he has tweeted about, but there is enough stuff that is a parody that you simply don't know what is real and what is fake. Almost a perfect April Fool's joke for that reason alone.
My personal all-time favorite April Fool's website still is the MS-Linux website. It is a bit dated now, but I do still wonder if Microsoft ought to simply buy up the domain and actually release a distro. I've seen other joke sites too, but this one by Notch is going to be legendary.

I said this. Two days later, my computer's motherboard melted down and I had to get a new one with Windows 8.
Irony in the first degree.

Here is the new website:

Considering Notch's sense of humor though, this could just be an April Fool's joke too!
