@Danteland: Wtf if your problem? It is an accent, not only is there very little that can be done about it, there is nothing that SHOULD be done about it. It is how they talk, it is perfectly understandable and if you have a problem with it then I seriously pity you for being a completely socially inept ****.
@DaBiggman: Minecraft is finished. There might be some future additions/expansions but ya it is finished. Personally I would love to see more games from Mojang (I am an 'adult' btw) as I trust them to do one thing that I can not trust most other companies in the industry to do: innovate.
On topic: I wish I could move out there and join you guys but I don't think that would be possible for me.
I understand what both of you are saying. The point is, munchkin is right, there is no problem with an accent, but i also think Danteland has addressed an important point.
It is understandable completely that they would not be so great with English, due to their location! This being said, I believe it is important for a CEO to be able to speak fluently for purposes of customer, professional and investor relations. This viewpoint sucks, I know. But that's just the shape of the business game. BUT
That being said... look how well Mojang are doing anyway! Maybe they are disproving the fact that you need strong professional PR and conventional marketing etc. I certainly think so. At least for a digital entertainment based company anyway, i don't think the customer base cares so much. Hell, most of them are misfits anyway, and not in a bad way, that can mean progressive thinkers too!
I'm excited by this digital business frontier. It sure is changing the way things are done already. Lean start-up, ease of information access and social marketing FTW!
