Can't you read? I said I only play PC Minecraft
I can already imagine the monstrosity of a game that would be called Minecraft on the 3DS. Considering how many other games are an entirely different game on 3DS *cough Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark, Skylanders, Transformers: War for Cybertron, Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars cough*, I wouldn't be surprised if something that was nothing like Minecraft came ot 3DS.
Building with blocks? How about using schematics to put down pre-built structures? Attacking monsters? More like quick-time events, cause everyone loves those! Mining for rare ores? They're floating in the sky because the earth is two blocks deep! Did I mention the fact that it's 2D, and everything is turn-based?
I like the idea of Minecraft coming to the 3DS.I personally can't speak about the Wii U because I don't own one currently but I think it would be great of the 3DS because of portability and with the dual-screens, the bottom can be the inventory and the upper portion could be the world view. I'm currently in China and I can't view the video but I support Minecraft coming to the 3DS.
I'm honestly not sure why so many people are bashing the idea (or just saying it wouldn't feel right )of Minecraft for the 3DS or Wii U, if anything the touchscreen and button combo would make it even better to play. I've played the pocket edition, and I felt it was just really clunky with the touchscreen controls for buttons and to break blocks especially. I'm not sure how it necessarily would have felt any more right on Xbox, let alone Playstation, rather than PC where it originated.
Maybe it's just me, but is the Minecraft community just really bad at accepting new ideas and change? (Such as new content updates in the past having ridiculous amounts of hate... I'm especially looking at those rose name posts, which basically seem to have essentially disappeared off the face of the earth in terms of being argued about).
That's quite a lot of exaggerating you're doing there, might want to just tone it down a bit and relax. I severely doubt that they would even consider anything you're even saying there in the 2nd paragraph.
My Wii is actually sitting right here, next to my Xbox 360 and other game systems over here, it's a good system and it's a shame you just have it sitting in a closet. Also a decent amount of people did buy the Wii U, and I've been trying to save up for one among many other things, so it hasn't been easy, but I really look forward to having one for some games it has, and many that it will have.

Would love to see this game added to the nintendo suit of games. Who give a flying duck if the game is different. The WII U gamepad makes the perfect platform for placing and editing inventory for minecraft. It has decent specs etc. As Long as 4j studios doesn't reap the game of features I think I would buy it in an instant. I don't really get why there is allot of hate here. The WII U is an excellent console. I for one am a PC gamer. But I own a 360 and a WII U. I bought the WII U recently for it's growing selection of excellent games and features such as slit screen co-op on Super Mario Bros U, Nintendo Land, Mario Kart 8, Soon to be super smash, and hopefully minecraft! The only thing bad about the WII U is the fact that developers are JUST now noticing how innovative the gamepad can be in games. Yes, it is not a 500$ console with an AMD APU, but it still has decent tech-specs compared to todays standard. Minecraft would fit like a niche in side the wii U's game pad. As far as the 3ds. Not so much. It would have to be downscalled and practically the Mobile version. I for one JUST sold my 3ds XL and I can tell you that it was crap compared to other mobile hand-helds I have owned. Really hope for the WII U version. MiniMoose out
The idea of Minecraft on Nintendo systems is far, far more exciting than the news of Mirror's Edge-themed content. EA's latest comments about how it's going to improve the sequel's combat have caused many's cautious optimism to fade.

Author of , Minecraft's most noteworthy Mega Man-themed resource pack!
Also the author of Tales from the Creature Keeper, a book series where humanity is long gone, but its successors, both domesticated and feral, could learn a lot from its legacy.
I would LOVE Minecraft on the 3DS. I have it on my tablet and it's difficult to control, but with the control pad of the 3DS I am sure I would enjoy it a lot more. I constantly travel, so I would love this additional option for taking Minecraft with me. I don't want to have to buy another handheld just to play the game on the go.
I think Minecraft for the 3DS would be LAGGY, no offense I would BUY A 3DS if it came to that platform... but it might not... And for all of those who don't know a lot about the DS series, it's not like an ipod where when it crashes it closes the app... NNNOOOOoooo if MC was on the DS it would freeze the system ENTIRELY causing you to restart your DS... so I don't know, it'll be fun and cause a SPIKE in 3DS/MC sales, but it would have problems too... :\ (plus it wouldn't update >_>)
