Do handhelds really have the cpu for all of this plus the End?
We are getting close to having more than the computing power of a laptop of five-seven years ago in our pockets now. Nexus 5 has a Quad-core 2.3 GHz, my 2009 netbook has an intel atom n450 (dual core 1.5GHz). The screen resolution is almost twice as high for the Nexus 5...
While those two don't really compare well, I do think we will see some very interesting developments in the future. Gaming seems to be the priority in developing new hardware. And it's not only CPU, but also very importantly GPU!
On a side note, my four year old dual core 1.2GHz Android with ICS does everything that it needs to do without the gaming, I have no need to replace that at all. I play MCPCE on my Nexus 7 (2013) and it's smooth as butter.
Hmm, I didn't see anything about better verification. As far as I know is someone sideloads the apk file for Minecraft PE it will say its an authentic version. But other than 0.9.0 is awesome and is actually running quite smooth on the old nexus 7.
This should be good. But with all that stuff wont the game be a bit more likly to crash? My kindle crashes if i have too many apps. Hope it dont explode!

Just let it go; you'll have to accept that some things aren't going to be in the PC edition.
