No, you will receive stuff there. Like, a card/some papers with a code or something. You dont need to attend, but you have to enter minecon, get the papers and then you can go home. I think that is how it is. Ive never attended minecon before but I think those are the basics.

well you do buy the ticket and get the code to your email but your registered to go to minecon so you have to be there or else if you buy another ticket maybe they wont let you buy another ticket to minecon or maybe they do let you but i recommend you to go to minecon and plus you recieve lots of goodies in there so yea

an I buy a MINECON ticket just to get the fancy cape?We want all tickets to go to people who will come and enjoy the event, so only people who come to MINECON will get their cape. When you arrive, we scan your ticket, and only scanned tickets will get a cape.
