Well, I know you live in New York City, but America and Europe does not have all the minecraft players. Look at places like Japan, China, Australia and New Zealand. And I think it is fair that since it has already been hosted in North America and Europe, that it should be held in a different location such as Japan or Australia.
Australia so NZ and polynesian players can get there aswell.
Japan so the places middle east can get there.
I know America is big but if it should be hosted again there, then it should be atleast 2015-17 so the places that other places around the world have a convenite location.

Sorry, but I really think that since the majority of minecon is aimed for people who speak english, I think that the chances of it happening in Asia is very unlikely.... and do you really think Minecon will continue on to 2017? No. NYC is a perfect spot because it's still in America, but on the other side this time and that will allow a whole different set of people to come as well!
I think mojang were talking about the 2012 minecon being in Australia before they announced it to be in Paris so the 2013 minecon(if there will be one) would probably be in Austraila
It being anywhere other than Europe completely screws it up for me.
Can you guys think a little? Minecraft is very popular with kids, but no kids or parents I know would take them to New York, Japan or Sydney for ONE WEEKEND. That is simply not worth it.
Plus, most kids have school, so that also screws up a lot of scheduling. Can you please consider this point?

Can you think a little? It was in Europe this year, so you had your chance for the time being. Not all kids live in Europe, plenty could go if it were in those places.

Mojang already said Minecon wont be in America again, sorry guys.
No, there has never, ever been a sandbox game with a story or ending... except Grand Theft Auto... and Saints Row... and Red Dead Redemption... and Crack Down... and Assassins Creed...

Just because of all these stupid NYC 2013/Minecon NYC/etc threads, I really hope it is no where near there.
Well, it wont be in the US, so I think it will be well away from New York.

Never do they say it won't be in the U.S. though...
Yes they did... I posted a link to Mojang saying that on this very thread.

Thank you for saying it for me.
You're welcome.
One thing I do not see: Proof.
OT: New York is good, along with Chicago and Disney World in Florida.
