I am not at my XB1 right now, or I'd try it myself. I own an iPad and have the Smart Glass app. Can you type something in another format (such as a Minecraft Forum Post), copy that text on your iPad, and paste it using Smart Glass into the Book and Quill text field? Has anyone tried this yet? I will try this when I get home and post the results, if someone hasn't beaten me to it. If it works the way I think (hope) it will, you should be able to mass produce written books, you would just need to sign them each individually.
Ok, so mixed results. You CAN copy and paste via Smart Glass. It will only copy 255 characters, tho, so if you use the "Artistik" printing press method, be sure to break your text into similar sized chunks for easier use. No line breaks, unless I am missing something. I was able to produce three identical 5 page books in roughly ten minutes, and I am certain had I prepared the text better it could be done quicker.
I ran a 360 server with some other guys and B & Q would have been a game changer. Imagine spawning into a world and getting a copy of a guide book that explains the rules of the server, gives them an idea of where to go first, lists notable locations, etc.

Stay tuned for results!

Never really seen the point of book and quill to be honest.

SO much easier than signs and a dedicated forum.
