If you rebuild Mumbo Jumbo's Highly Efficient Mob Spawner you will get a redstone lock issue and if you enter the nether it should create multiple water sources from a dispenser.
i am using this version of a mob farm It is similar to Mumbos design, but only one dispenser, and yes mine uses a hopper clock, i will try and get a video of how the source blocks form
here is a video on xbox one where I create a new world go to a witch hut and set up the start of a witch farm so you can see the witches spawning how they should and then I save and quit and reload it, and them the hut wont spawn witches anymore and instead spawns other mobs that are not supposed to spawn.

4JSteve, are we certain the animals are jumping the fences and that's why they're disappearing with CU8? I've got a fairly solid pen set up for my sheep (1 of each color) that I didn't have any issues with in CU7 with either suffocation nor fence jumping. It's a rectangle with water going all the way around the edge, one block in from the water edge, I dig down two and place fence all the way around. This forces the water to go down and the fence posts under the water keep anything from drowning in case it gets out. one block in from that (and back up two, so level with the ground where the water is) I have another fence going around creating the pen. Any sheep (or cows, I have the same setup for them) that try to go into or onto the fence get pushed back from the water on the other side of it.
But, as of the update last week, my pen of 16 sheep is now down to 10. I've not seen any of them escape, but they're most certainly gone. I had weeks of continuous play during the holidays and never lost a single one with this setup and CU7.
Not sure if this is a bug or not, but once you get on top of the nether no mobs will spawn. I made a huge platform up there hoping to get pigmen for an awesome gold farm concept i'd found on youtube, but sadly my top of the nether remains barren save for a few mushroom patches.
Could I talk you guys into changing this to match how the PC version works? I'll give you a chest filled with golden nuggets! lol
Mind you, It'd also be sweet if the portals we make on top could connect to overworld portals for direct travel, too, but not even PC has that.
At the moment they connect to a portal near the ground that then creates a new one at that Y level in the nether. In survival enderpearls can be expensive and it'd be nice to be able to skip that step of the journey after you've managed to make it there the first time! I wouldn't even mind the strange floating portal way up in the sky! I'd just build myself a stairway all the way to heav-. . . er, hell! lol
I was exploring for Temples in a Jungle Biome when I noticed the trees around me disappearing. Just the foliage, as if the wood parts had been removed. Saplings would drop too. I quickly ran out of there for fear of losing an entire jungle. I was planning an Aztec Empire mega build but this puts those plans on hold if I can't build in the jungle. I had explored jungles before this update and it never happened before.
The unbreaking enchantment has been impossible for me to get for a while now. I have gone into creative and enchanted many items with no luck.
I also don't know if this is intentional or a bug but a librarian villager from my villager farm is selling an unbreaking 3 book for 1 book and 44 emeralds which seems extremely expensive.
Also another thing I have noticed is that I lose hunger a lot faster in the nether. I go through so much food hunting wither skeletons.

FOR ANYONE REPORTING REDSTONE ISSUES
If possible could you provide any relevant screenshots/Youtube videos of the setup.
What about random potion timers appearing when using a potion (splash) and the disappearance of game-mode swapping while in-game. (Ex. Adventure mode switching to creative for moderators and hosts. VERY useful)
my invisibility potions no longer seem to work on both the xbox one and ps4 version of the game. also issues with blaze spawners in the nether. if its because of other mobs spawning around and the spawners not working then we just need to up the caps. I mean come on my xbox one or ps4 is way more powerful then my 5 year old laptop that can run minecraft and have way more mobs around why cant the newer systems?
Villagers don't seem to be doing as many trades before dropping an item on their list. Before I was getting a lot closer to the 12 max trades, now I can usually get 4-5 trades before they drop the item from their list.
I put a horse in an 8x8 wooden fenced in area. I turned my back for a few minutes not more than 50 blocks away. When I came back the horse was gone. It was tamed but had no name tag. (have not found a tag yet) I don't think it jumped out, although I can't prove it. It seems to me the horse problem is not yet fixed. What is strange, I tamed another horse and just left it to roam at will a few days ago. It's still hanging around out in a field. Go figure.
Yeah, I can confirm this one. I built a blaze farm in the nether about a week or so back. When I went back to it today it worked like a charm. . . For about 15 minutes. Now the spawner just sits there. It is still showing as active with the tiny blaze spinning around and around but nothing spawns from it. Other blazes still spawn sporadically around my nether fortress just not in any of the spawners. I tried placing down light sources then removing them, but nothing seems to get them spawning again.
So much for my glowstone project for now.
I recently reset my nether and now it doesn't even spawn with blaze spawners or chests
The only way my world can get horse armour is via nether fortresses.
Ok I don't think I have explained my theory on the Blaze Spawners very well in this forum. The way the game spawns mobs naturally is very different from the way it spawns mobs from a spawner. The Natural Hostile Mob cap does not apply to mobs from spawners as they are not considered naturally spawned, Thats why afk farms exist, mob spawners should be able to keep spawning mobs till your game crashes. The problem is that the blazes from Blaze spawners are being counted as naturally spawned mobs, thats why sometimes they work for 10 minutes or so before breaking.
Another bug I have noticed is that when you throw a splash potion of damage/healing at a collected group of mobs (From one of the affermentioned afk farms in the overworld) It yild nowhere near the amount of exp that killing them with a sword does.
Hi everyone. My issue is mainly with redstone. I have an extensive hopper system that runs from all of my auto-farms and mineshafts to an item elevator that takes the items up into my item sorter. The issue I'm having is 4-5 times over a two to three hour span the comparator that is connected to the dropper at the start of my item elevator locks up and I have to empty the hopper and the dropper, then exit and re-enter my world for everything to start flowing again. It seems as though auto-save is part of the problem because if I activate any redstone machinery and auto-save kicks in, it locks up all of the redstone on my world and I have to exit and re-enter the world for everything to go back to normal. I tried playing last night without auto-save on, and didn't have any redstone problems at all, but I don't like playing with auto-save off because since TU19/CU7 Minecraft seems to crash to dashboard at random times and I don't want to lose any progress. The other thing I've noticed is that auto-save lags my game considerably, which is a pain when it seems to auto-save every couple of minutes. I'll be riding along in a minecart for instance, and suddenly the minecart will stop for two to three seconds, then jump ahead 20 blocks, or if I'm placing blocks and it places them in the wrong spot and then makes the placement sound four times louder than usual. Thanks!

I had the same issue, but solved it by putting a comparator from the last hopper into the first dropper with a redstone loop. This has stopped the first dropper from filling up too fast (the first dropper just keeps going and the redstone gets refreshed when items go into the last hopper.
Portal problem is annoying but adds a surprise when you come out in an unexpected place.
