Agreed. I might stay with Xbox because it is less glitchy. Mobs half in the ground, turning invisible when you die, lagging like hell when there are a mob of monsters trying to kill you, yeah.
ever thought of a boomerang? Not sure what the stats of it would be but that would be interesting in the very least....
I was thinking low damage, but sort of a stun affect.
I think that's how it was used for hunting, to stun small animals at a distance before going in for the kill.
It could be easily implemented with a couple potion effects like slowness and a couple others.

That sounds bout' right, and good use, especially when you want to stun a creeper to get away... or something else. low damage would be fine for it since it is not a chakram... or how ever you spall that. would be nice to have the animation of it being thrown and return to you.:D

My First World, always getting back to is a pleasure I enjoy with each new update that brings in more things to add in.
I meant "chakram", a sharp disc like thing that is thrown.
spell I didn't even notice because it didn't have spell checker red line under it for some reason... That and I could have sworn it was an e before posting... eh my computer has been doing some odd things...><

So you think that shooting arrows while your piston mechanism is making sooo much noise you can barely focus makes sense? I say not. Hydraulic pistons came out in the 1800's like TNT. A musket is probably easier and more simple to make than a hydraulic piston. You pull the trigger, which scrapes flint, which ignites gunpowder which sends the musket ball away. I can't even explain the mechanism in a hydraulic piston very well. It is a pump which pumps hydraulic oil at pressures so high that it pushes the piston part.

TNT is sawdust or similar material soaked in nitroglycerin.

An actual chemical originally made as a yellow dye
It's actually got familiarity in what I'm doing in Chemistry at the moment.
It has a carbon ring which I can't remember the name of but its called hexane with the six single bonded carbons, has a methyl group
And three nitrogen dioxides.
Trinitrotoluene toluene is a mystery to me.
And I just looked at another place and I was thinking of Dynamite before, damn you AC DC for your misleading music!
TNT isn't dynamite.

AC DC can ride on the highway to hell for all I care right now. After their singer died in the 80's their music hasn't appealed to me.
Ooh! Something hit me while I was using balkon's weapon mod today. The musket was sooo inaccurate but I have an idea. How about, for enchantments, rifling I and rifling II. Rifling 1 reduces the chance of a misfire to 50 percent, but rifling 2 makes misfires rare. Other than that, it should share enchantments with the bow in everything other than power and flame. Infinity should still consume gunpowder, making it almost useless.

I was thinking disallow the enchantments altogether.
And that could be the balance for the weapon.

It already consumes a crap load of materials to make and a pain to reload and to constantly get gunpowder. That is not enough of a balance? At least have punch and rifling enchantments. Infinity would make sense if it still consumed gunpowder, as that is the most costly part of the shot if using stone rounds. Infinity would work with it infinitely shoots the type of ammo you have in your quiver or pouch. Infinity would still take the same time to reload.
I find the xbox version to actually be a lot more stable bug wise.

Turns out its not either actually.
Just checked. Not I gotta find out where I read or who told me that incorrect information...
