Here is a project I have been cobbling together in Farmville. The Royal Gargantuan Navy Base features a battleship in drydock, a submarine, helicopter gunship and a supply ship. Not complete yet but I keep tinkering with it. All the guns and missile launchers on the ships and submarine fire blaze charges.
The town of Portiaville is in the top NW corner of my map. For the longest time it was my daughters town, and she and my son built there. All I did was run the roads and rails in. But then I started playing live with random people roaming around and they would inevitably wind up there at some point and say to themselves, "OK, whats going on here?"
Recently though, I have covered over/removed the old town and rebuilt it as Portiaville Emerald City.
I recently decided to remove my downtown stadium. In it's place now you will find a new courthouse, art gallery and other office buildings. This involved tearing down the expressway and rail line that ran around the stadium and realignment for both. The stadium removal opened up a lot of real estate and allowed me to rebuild the road network around it. I intend to build a replacement stadium soon, I just haven't decided on a location yet.
These images show the changes over time as the towns and cities in my world grew.
I took photos from my first minecraftforum post and then took current photos from the same place to compare the changes.

Nice job! Johnstown you named it or something? I used to live in a Johnstown. I like the emerald city. It looks like Oz.
