Work a bit on the town buildings and this will be one hell of a build. Even though it's a minor setback this looks really cool. Good job.
its rather hard to do. its a medieval build, so i stick to medieval standards. this makes even harder being every area has its own style of building. so im limited to what i can do wile still maintaining my own prefrence.
It's not as hard as you'd think. Sure, I'm not the best builder but it's not hard to spend some time on builds. Not distinguishing your effort, but it seems like you go for quantity over quality.

your center building and the tallest in the photo on the other post was large, empty, had water on all walls... and lava falls through the center.... "quantity over quality" im starting to think you have no clue what your saying.

listen i really dont want to put you down because this picture is saddly slightly better then the other.... but your detail turns into a mess... cool road... i can almost see it through the random asortment of wood and stone everywhere. what is that to the right? did a ghast eat wood and clay and you just took a picture of what ever came out it?

I'm honestly sorry that you think your work is perfect. Because it's not. Mine's not either. You have a few nice builds then you have flat walls and square as hell houses. You need to learn to take some criticism.
Also, what do you expect on a mid medieval? Clean towns that seem empty? Sorry, that's not that I think of when I think "medieval". My town is a clutter of buildings with scale and scope. Sorry if you don't like it, and honestly I couldn't care less. I was using my town as an example of detail, because like it or not my buildings aren't flat.

i like your buildings but take note i do not pride myself in the detail of a single structure but many at once, with different styles and designs. i can build the same thing now. 14-1500 stone trim, log corners, but that style is not my favorite. besides i do almost everything 100% on my own... that includes learning and experimenting with different ways to use the blocks giving i am sorry if i put down your work it seemed to me, you were putting mine down with your photos.
between the amount random cobble stone and wood i cant tell what it is. or if it wasent for the windows atleast i wouldent know what exactly i was looking at. my work is un finished. i know it is not as good as it soon will be. however from the looks of your builds, you choose the easy ways, pretty colors, deranged detail, and little to no effort in the true architecture... all of my buildings have purpose. that are not a random asortment of structures like yours, the districts, the buildings, the homes, the offices, the wilderness.... all of it placed with order of how basic city (are really) built.
but
maybe some years of schooling will let you understand my style. but idk. i just dont feel your builds give you the validity to establish what is "bland and flat"... it looks like you wanted a city so baddly you rushed, making only what "looked good" from the outside and not inside.
think of my city as a movie set. you'll start to see videos and skits appearing on youtube, some of which will have strangly familair buildings.
thank you.
Good for you man, you place buildings down just like everybody else. I can give my opinion on anything I want and if I think your buildings look bland I'm gonna tell you they look bland. You honestly have one of the biggest ego's I've ever seen. You could have looked at my comment and said "hey ya' know maybe he's right." Or "Oh whatever" and just left it be, just like your other thread. It's nothing but fighting over there because you think your stuff is perfect. If you didn't want any criticism DON'T POST IT HERE. Like it or not, you're going to get it. Stop whining every time somebody tells you something does not look good, because it's OUR OPINION.
To be fair, I don't care about your criticism, because I have had more than enough tell me that my builds look good. Sorry you feel like my builds are jumbled together, maybe I'll change that up or maybe I just won't give a damn. Also, I have been working on that medieval world for months and it's far from done. Fully done interiors, walls, boats, docks, the works. What you seen is just a small tid bit of stuff, so it being "rushed" is irrelevant.
The first photo and the graveyard castle shows a nice original aesthetic appeal. Dilapidation in some of the buildings is a nice touch too.
ty, the first city looked so so so much better... then tu12 came out then boom...... winter wonder land everywhere.. man if i had 2 days back for every setback during my time of building, bush would still be president.
Not really too fond of your other one you posted, as I am one to not enjoy much of modern look, even if it is well done.
This one seems decent enough though. You do have a style in your own right. A few things bug me, but that is only due to simple fact of my own taste and my style I developed. Still looks pretty good. I mainly like the windmills you have and the paths through out. Nice layout for the most part, especially the way the farmland looks.

My First World, always getting back to is a pleasure I enjoy with each new update that brings in more things to add in.

I thought it was a very promising looking build, some really nice architectural work. I actually really liked the arabian looking city, is that the one that guy is moaning about? Anyway, I also liked some of the distressed buildings and the pyramid. Good stuff sir
