I would like to see, if possible, slime blocks because I am making a server with tons of ships and they use torpedoes that are made with slime blocks. I would also like to see blocks that redstone can travel through, and cabinets and refrigerators that store food etc., tables, chairs, armor stands, lamps, night stands, t.v., Computers, other furniture, and maybe later on we could see vehicles and guns. Also before the last update I had some amazing worlds that I spent much time on and I can no longer access them becuase the game freezes. It could just be my Xbox but I literally was playing that world when it said the update was available. Maybe this problem can be addressed and maybe not but please try. Thanks for your consideration and fellow minecraft players please state in the comments what you would like to see later on.

I have no memory for what versions have what updates, but I am pretty sure the next update for us is the one that brings ocean monuments, bunnies, armour stands, maybe new biomes, etc. Also, we tend to always get content from other updates as well, so its a possibility we could see something of the new combat update coming to the xbox 360 version, but I would not hold out hopes for that as there is no way to know how much and on what level 4J and Mojang share content.
As for your requested items such as refrigerators, tv's, cabinets, tables and various furniture, we can already build all that stuff plus more with the items currently in game. If you need a guide in order to learn how to build various types of furniture, then I recommend you check out the Minecraft "wiki" which can be accessed at the top of this website in the green bar. Alternatively you can also use Youtube.
As for your request for computers, vehicles and guns, that is never going to happen. What you are requesting would be modded items, and you are not allowed to mod on the xbox 360, but again, you can actually build what would resemble a TV, and a Pc with the in game items.
Thanks for that advice but i know on minecraft PC there are mods that actually have cabinets and refrigerators that look like the real things and also act as a kind of chest that holds things too. I was hoping, surely not in this next update of course, but maybe future updates will hold SOME if not all of these. I know the update process can take a long time but I understand that. It was just some ideas that would be pretty neat.
I would want maybe a hunger games mash up pack. also slime blocks and invisible blocks would be cool. I am really good at parkour so I would obiously want those.
Not likely anything from "1.9" will come to consoles anytime soon since it's not even out for the PC yet.
I foresee two possibilties:
1) The next content update will include the 1.7 biomes. Because of the wealth of new items (new trees/flowers, red sand, podzol, packed ice, etc) don't expect much more than stained glass and the revised fishing mechanics to accompany it.
2) They will forego adding the new biomes to add much more smaller changes, possible even pulled from 1.8 (mutton, crafting recipes for the various types of stone brick/mossy cobble, coarse dirt, doors and fence posts for the 4 wood types already in the game, the newer enchanting system, etc.)
I'm hoping for option 2, personally.
Either way, it's safe to say that it'll be a few months before we hear anything.
in the future update i would like you guys even more then i already do if you add bunnies and normal animals to the game and i would also like it if you guys added smp servers so we could test out future updates and then we could reply on this website and tell you guys if we like it or not.i am very sorry about all the stuff that i am wanting but my room is all minecraft and all the toys i play with is minecraft and i asked my dad to take out the lighting in my room and i added minecraft torches instead so i would like to see more updates in the future for the xbox 360. i would like it to add a computer and maybe some modern household appliances and with the computer you could make the trading system easier and you guys could make it so you can choose how large your world is.and please please please add backpacks you have no idea how many times i have been mining and filled my inventory up with cobblestone and just found diamonds and i mined it and i didnt have any space for it and it despawned.
so i hope you could at least do some of that i hope mot or all of it though and i love minecraft so much thats all i ever play all day everyday so please try and make this happen and remember minecraft inspires me to do more things because of you guys.
World size shouldn't be a factor in whether the new biomes get added or not. Sure, it's would be next to impossible to generate a "perfect" map, but that limitation can easily be rectified by including crafting recipes for many of the specialized blocks. And I don't think changing the world-gen algorithm is a good idea, either. I certainly wouldn't change the frequency of "water" generation. Just because the maps are smaller I don't think a "watered-down" version of the 1.7 features is appropriate. I feel it hinders players' options. Give them the full biome spectrum but include recipes for blocks they might not get on account of the world size.
Coarse Dirt already uses Dirt and Gravel as it's recipe... I'm not sure why you'd want to change it.
I would give podzol a recipe (perhaps Coarse Dirt + Spruce Leaf Block) instead of making it a rare drop.
Red Sand can be a block of normal sand surrounded by redstone dust.
Packed Ice would be crafted with 9 regular Ice blocks.

I think modern days' furniture doesn't fit with Minecraft.

well seeing as how we are supposed to be getting the update that changed the world
I'd just enjoy exploring the new biomes primarily. The new fish and fishing items sound fun
and of course stained glass. Although I suspect we won't see slime blocks in the next feature.
It will create a slew of new bugs and frustrate those who enjoy it's more practical uses.
Would like to also see the quiver and at least a few new arrows from 1.9 which I do
think is possible due to the 360's multiplayer base. Also servers would be a very nice add.

I am still hoping they will expand the world. And you never know, we already have
1.8 content. Though I do seriously doubt they will manage to add all the new biomes.
Perhaps a few more popular ones. It's going to be a mess any which way this goes
it seems. Now I'm beginning to understand why most people don't want minecraft
to change.

They won't be adding furniture or appliances. Highly doubt backpacks. But if your interested in furniture try using minecarts
with steps. They have a youtube video on how to make it. Also if you want a backpack(ish) use donkeys as they can hold
a chest. And fridges are easily made with an iron door, a dispencer and a button.
hope those help.
