Severe lag when playing on a friend's world when around his house.
I have to spam L2 10-20 times to open chests or access anything that brings up a menu screen.
It took me a good 20mins to craft a couple brewing stands to make a couple night vision
and invisibility potions :/
It's not lagging from redstone because he only has a few lights on switches and a minecart station.
I've found that it generally only lags around peoples main area of work.
Out in the wild it doesn't seem to be so much of an issue.
But when it is an issue, it's unbearable.
I hope the lag is fixed before vita version comes out, I don't want to throw my vita :/

Well at first that issue you are saying was happening but in cases I had wolves but when I would go to them they were not there anymore. I figured it was the same issue but than when I tried doing the things that usually made them appear (things like attacking animals around the area or saving and restarting the seed) but they still did not return. Is it possible that they are dying somehow?
I can not figure it out...though the chickens in pens are doing almost the same thing. Hopefully you can fix them because it is rather frustrating. I did notice one thing that happens when my wolves despawn...I start seeing wild wolves around the area. Is it possible the wolves lose interest in you and do not stay tamed?
Well I have 2 solutions. Either A. you haven't fed the wolves so they die, and B for other animals is that you keep them in too large of a pen and they de-spawn

Nah bro, I was only making a couple potions.
The tree farm that I built has around 80 pistons in it, all firing in timed sequence.
Not even a hint of slight lag from that contraption. I could say the same about my
enderman farm with over 400 pistons in it, no lag at all.
It's definitely not lag from redstone cos my friends world has minimal Redstone builds at the moment.
I think it could be to do with the city texture pack.

Solution A is not an issue because I keep an eye on there tails all the time. Solution B is also not an issue,the pens are under 20x20 blocks. As a matter of fact the largest one I have is 18x17 and that is for cows. The only thing I can think of is that it may because the pens are too close together? Unless it is like I said something to do with chickens.
Are you seeing the wolves despawning in a multiplayer game or a single player game? (Host/Client?)
I'm currently looking into this and the main Issue I see is wolves are not reappearing for the Client in a multiplayer game until they move very close to the Wolves (No block update necessary).
Ok,this is what I have noticed. I could be wrong but it seems like it only does this switching from out of peaceful to other difficulties. Perhaps not feeding the dogs in peaceful is getting carried over to the changed difficulty causing them to die from hunger? Just a thought but that is how I have replicated this issue. Granted it does not always happen but it is still a bug. Hope that is helpful.

Tonight while playing I had someone in the lobby attack one of my dogs after using a fishing rod on it. I was a pretty far distance away cutting wood and when I come back to check and see what was going on...1 single dog came out of no place and started following me. I noticed that it was also growling. I fed it to try and get it to stop but it kept growling. I just had the dog sit in a room and I went to check on the rest of the dogs and they were all gone. I went to go back with a friends dog to mate them and than that dog was gone too!!!
I am not sure what is going on but all I know Is that I am not going to get max dogs again after doing it over 20 times. Hope you can fix the pups because if not they can stay wild lol. I would tame cats but they are like ultra rare for some reason. I saw one once and had no fish on me...went to get some and go back but it was gone.

Thankfully we have found an issue with Wolves causing them to despawn when angry.
You can tell if the wolf is angry by allowing it too stand and checking if the Tail is straight out behind it.
When a wolf is angry and sitting it will despawn when you fly out of range.

When I'm playing in my friend's world I consistently get chunk errors where a block is empty all the way to the bottom of the map. If I fall into/enter one of these I get stuck and can't out. Mobs jump up and down like they're on yoyo strings when they're in one of them. Usually it's only one per game, but last night there were two right next to each other. My friend has had the same thing happen when he's in my world.
This is actually happening to many of the people who play on my survival. I noticed the host normally doesn't get this issue. Very annoying.
I've been experiencing a problem of getting kicked to offline play. (no matter if I am playing alone, or have friends in my world.)
Another issue is getting kicked from a friends world and back to the main menu, saying the host has left. Yet the host is still in the server.
These are just a few problems that I have encountered.

I was on my multiplayer world with my friend. The game turned to offline mode but then began exiting the game. But the 'exiting the game' screen wouldnt go away for 5 minutes so i restarted my ps3 and went back on minecraft to see that the world wasnt there. Its been like this for more than a week

Hey, guys! I'm new to the forum! I seem to be having some redstone problems. I am trying to build this.
Everything works properly, but it seems as if the redstone goes mental when it gets to the second torch tower. The torches don't turn on and off like they should. I have watched it multiple times and it does the same thing over and over. However, if I place a torch close to the tower or use a button, it works just fine. I know the that the signal makes it to the tower just because I have the proper amount of repeaters. Anyway, I'm not sure if anyone else is having this problem, but it would be great to get some insight. Maybe I am doing something wrong. Also, is there a water bug? At times, when I have attempted to place water buckets in a dispenser, it will go haywire and create multiple water sources. Haha
