Today, 07:00 PM I am running Mac OSX Lion Could anybody help me? I got my original minecraft server.jar on the minecraft.net website. for this new 1.3 pre release, i've tried simply replacing my old .jar with this one, but when I or someone else tries to access my server, it says "connection lost. End of Stream". I'm assuming it's either an easy fix, or it just can't be done under multiplayer.. only the single player mode? I am using a port map to make the server accessible to people outside of my wifi range *I've tried downloading both the 'client' version and 'server' version and swapping them with mine. the 'Server' version boots up and seems to run fine. Just won't let me connect.( it'll even tell me when me, or someone else lost connection and will also let me look at the commands like "help/?", and let me 'stop' to disconnect etc.) I am trying to do this under multiplayer and not single player. (I remember reading something about being able to play multiplayer in single player games now.) but I can't find my single player worlds on my computer anyway, so can't even replace it with the world my friends and I have been building for so long now.) i'd rather do it in the multiplayer fashion. I have backed up my world, but kept the same one in server file. I just want a better experience for my friends and I. we tried making mine carts to drive in, but couldn't and couldn't make an ender chest or couldn't find any emerald Ore. Saw all these things on Mine Craft wiki. didn't realize they weren't officially out. Thank you for your time
