I was playing a creative world in 1.2.5 yesterday, and something strange happened. In one certain area (approximatelly radius of five blocks horizontally, about four blocks vertically), I was unable to place any blocks, or interact with blocks at all. The black frame around the edges of the block didn't appear, so I couldn't mine either. I immediately quit Minecraft and force updated it. When my world loaded again, the same problem happened, and it still only happened in that one small area of the world. The next thing I tried to fix the problem was I substituted my 1.2.5 minecraft.jar file for 12w23b. That didn't help much. In 12w23b, I can break blocks in the problem area, but when I try to place blocks, they disappear immediately (just like when you try to place a block in the spot right next to you, but you're too close for the block to actually be placed). Do any of you know what this problem is and how it can be fixed? (Please, don't tell me to not try to build there. The problem area is the site of a mob trap that needs to be in one specific spot next to this building that took an extremely long time to build. If this glitch doesn't get fixed, I'll have to get rid of the mob trap, and I really don't want to do that.)
