Hi, I just signed up for the forums because I have a problem with Minecraft. The game runs fine for about 3-5 minutes, then starts to slow down and eventually freeze(with the occasional movement). I don't think it's because my laptop isnt powerfull enough, heres the specs:

i5 @ 2.5ghz turboboost to 3.1ghz

4gb ddr3 ram

nvidia geforce 610m 2gb graphics card(dedicated)

750gb hdd,

win 7 home premium 64 bit

Do you have any suggestions?

Thanks for the replies and help guys, I'll try putting 64 bit java on my laptop.

Ok, I installed java 64 bit, and it fixed the freezing problem. The NEW problem is that it lags behind the mouse movement.

What can I do about that?

No, the game runs fine untill it gets to a complex area (such as jungle) then slows down.
