Minecraft randomly freezes for a few seconds before continuing. I have a Nvidia graphic card, 70-160FPS and use 10-30% of the memory (I have no idea what kind of info is needed). Minecraft also seems to accept inputs while freezing as I can still move around and do stuff, the screen won't update though. Any idea what is causing it/how to fix it?
Edit: I run vanilla (no mods) and have updated the game a few times.
It does that to me to I have no idea why. It didn't really bother me. I don't think it's happened on any of the other texture packs. Maybe you should try a different texture pack( they're cooler anyway) :ph34r.gif:
This can also happen if you try to force MC to use more memory than necessary.
When you do this you just create a situation where Java garbage collection happens less frequently, but when it does occur, it takes a noticeable amount of time (i.e. a stutter).
