Just updated MC to 1.0.0 and I found this problem when I was playing creative mode, I sometimes place two blocks instead of one. But if I get close on the place where I want to put my block, It works fine. But it's been really annoying and I couldn't play MC because of it.
And I have this problem about when I make a snow golem, their face won't show.
lag. I have had to deal with that problem so many times before. I actually filmed a Youtube video for Thanksgiving, and that kept happening while the video was recording. I almost always have 20-30 fps, and it seems like it always lags right before the second block is placed.
The videos with the lag can be seen here. Im not sure which video has the problem the most, and I was running about 30 fps every time it happened. I think it may be a problem with the CPU usage or also having different things such as mobs and spawners. Glass and water also seem to give me the problem. It only happens occasionally for me now, and I just got used to it. It seems to only happen in certain areas with a lot of stuff, or just areas with a lot of what I had listed before. I hope this helps a bit :biggrin.gif:
your minecraft is lagging. Try restarting your minecraft and press "f3" to check your amount of fps (frames per minute) if your fps is low this is main problem. Now if your fps is high & you have mods installed you have lag.
And if there is none of the above i suggest make a backup save to your minecraft and redownload minecraft.

And another problem I forgot to add: Things like torches, saplings, flowers, grasses etc. have a whitish outline.

Frames per SECOND my friend.
But what about the problem about my golems having no faces? Their heads look like pumpkins instead of jack-o-lanterns.
