Ive been playing MC for months now, and its great!
BUT, suddenly, and whitout any interference from my part it started to act weird after I updated my rig. It used to work perfectly before.
But now, after about 2 minutes, or less, of regular amazing gameplay it just drops to 0 FPS and stays that way for a while, maybe 20 secs, then it goes back up to 800 something for a little while and then it drops back down to 0. As you can see, its impossible to play this way.
I have tried updating Java, and I got the latest version, I also re downloaded the game, just in case, lowered ALL video settings and the problem persits.
It worked great before the upgrade. And my comp should be plenty powerful for it.
After the upgrade I have:
Core i5 3.2 GHZ
16 GB of RAM
GeForce 560Ti
GeForce 560Ti
(Both are on SLI).
I tried disabling SLI and hoped that that was the problem, but it persisted.
Any help you could give me would be great! I havent played MC in months T_T
And the PC has been stress tested for 48 hours straight, CPU, RAM, GPUs, everything has been working fine.
Other games work fine (great actually, If you are thinking about upgrading I recommend the 560Ti).
This only appears to happen when the game is on fullscreen. Windowed seems to be fine. Scratch that, It does happen in windowed, it just took a bit longer, about 15 minutes.
=S
PS: which would be the "middle framerate setting"? If you mean that I should choose "balanced" performance, I already have.
BTW2: Is there a way to enable Vsync in MC? I dont need the game to run at 800-900 fps XD
