So heres the situtation. Ive recently got a new computer but the screen was broke so I got a diff one from a freind. The tower is a Dell and the monitor is a ProView monitor. (also I've had to buy a video adapter for it so the monitor would plug into the tower, Idk if that has any thing to do with it.)So I ran Minecraft and I got to the login screen and loged in. It updates then the screen goes back for about 7 secs and this error message pops up.
Bad video card drivers!
Minecraft was unable to start because it failed to find an accelerated OpenGL mode.
This can usually be fixed by updating the video card drivers.

So then I updated the driver and it still wont work. I have windows 7 and a Radeon X1300/X1550 Series (Microsoft Corporation - WDDM)Also if I need to unistall my driver then I can, just I need someone tell me the one to install after.
Is there any way I can play it or is it a lost cause?
With that graphics card, no it's a lost cause my friend sorry. I would suggest investing in a new computer all together. Odds are that your computer won't have the correct expansion port to handle a new graphics card.
CreeperKillla: Sorry, you were being assisted by people who dont know what they're talking about. You can definitely play minecraft.
Just go to ATI's website and download the newest drivers based off the info you provided above.
