Dont say oh just tweak the graphics, i have done that and i get 20fps (laptop) and i was wondering how can i boost fps(like what products for laptops do this) I was thinking about getting an alienware and saw that its was 1.7k and i screamed WHAT THE ****! who would buy this!?
So what do i have to buy for better FPS?
When i press f3 the lag spike line is all the way at the top i cant even see my coordnites
optifine isnt out for 1.9
1.8gives me 4-6fps anyways
How do i fix?

Install the mod Optifine. Very good FPS boosting mod.
If you want to improve some performance use optifine. If you want to go buy some external products you're better going and building yourself a desktop instead of using a laptop for gaming. Laptops are not built for gaming, more so college student work.
You can buy external ram, its expensive but worth it.. you can also try gamebooster or try allocating more ram to minecraft with a .bat file... pm me for info

bro i get a ton of FPS on team fortress 2 on the highest qaulity just minecraft is laggy
Just because you can run TF2 doesn't mean much. To be honest TF2 is less demanding graphically than minecraft. I could run TF2 with gfx down on a pentium 4 with 448mb of RAM. The only real way to fix this is to upgrade your hardware or attempt to use optifine. (Also side note, if you can't run minecraft too well it's not the best thing to run it. Considering you're on a laptop you could end up "melting" your cpu doing that...)

i thought team fortress used alot, How much average for hardware upgrade for a laptop?, I can run minecraft thanks to 1.9 but my friend get 150+fps and his computer is a tad bit better than mine as far as i know, melting is unlikely

TF2 uses the source engine (The same as Portal, Halflife, etc) It's not that demanding. I can run minecraft at 300 fps on this computer (I turn vsync on to prevent screen tearing) but the major issue with upgrading a laptop is that it WILL overheat if you put too much power in the thing. They are also very hard to get the correct parts for and a pain to reassemble. Buying a stick of the appropriate RAM or so shouldn't be too expensive but depending on your CPU that could get very expensive as well as the video card.
