i have a hp pavilion s7510n PC running Windows XP. I cannot run minecraft downloaded and after the update in browser. I used Spotcraft and it worked but know its down and updating.
My question is if i buy a Video card able to run Minecraft can i install it on my computer?
I can't find anything on the Internet to indicate that computer can accept a video card. What motherboard connection does it use?
Slimlines are a PITA for video, you need to find a low-profile model. If that HP is similar to a Dell I have sitting here, it's basically a laptop in a desktop case.
If you move to another computer, I would recommend a standard size case. It's much easier to find upgrade parts for, and to work on.
That one will run it with one of the upgraded Radeon cards. You'll probably save some money if you get it without, and buy the card separately though.
