I've had a problem with the game running out of memory for a long time, something I find odd, concidering the fact that Java has got 1000MB's to play with.
The game has been sort of friendly if I've stayed in the same area, but if I'd want to explore, I'd have to expect many, many crashes.
But that is not the case anymore. The game won't even work for thirty seconds without crashing now.
And yes, I've looked for solutions here for a while now. Updating/re-installing the game doesn't work. Updating Java doesn't work. Allocating more memory to Java doesn't work. Various .BAT files and shortcut thingies don't work either.
Now, could someone help a confused lad? :smile.gif:
Around my home and near by cave, I can go several minecraft days with out it running out of memory and telling me I must restart my game.
But in far off areas it does this about every 30sec or so. While hideing in a hole while exploring it crashed about 6-7 times in that one night. I have noticed that often before it does this I can find places where the textures dont load in and I can see through the ground to the caves underneath. Also when mineing blocks there texture wont go away.

Test if setting View Distance to Normal resolves this problem. I'ave had it and reducing view distance from Far resolved it :smile.gif: (I also used to suffer black screens after a while under v1.7 and v1.6 when view distance was set to far)
