So yep, the same problem many people have been having, except I haven't seen any Mac specific solutions, so I didn't try and use the suggestions they had there. I am on a Mac OS X 10.5.8 and run the .jar file. It lags on the Mojang screen and while in a world.
yes im on mac aswell. Each OS X update changes the ammount of lag. Either downgrade or wait for the next update. I just downgraded. No big deal to me/.
