me and my friends made a brohoster server and none of us know anything about plugins right now so we are in desperate need of help setting up plugins and mysql so if you need any type of information ill be happy to add it as long as you can help us
On, let's start from the top. I'm assuming you already have a reasonably descent knowledge of running a server, so we'll skip that.
The first step would be downloading and learnig how to start CraftBukkit. Go here and click on "Get CraftBukkit" Instructions for instalation are also on that page.
The second step would be choosing what plugins you want. Plugins are available from that same webstie, just to the right of the "Get CraftBukkit" link. Here is a direct link to the plugin database if you want.
There are literally thousands of plugins. If you can give the forum some idea of what you would like to accomplish, I'm sure we can recommend good plugins.

"Saying 'I notice you're a nerd' is like saying, 'Hey, I notice that you'd rather be intelligent than be stupid, that you'd rather be thoughtful than be vapid, that you believe that there are things that matter more than the arrest record of Lindsay Lohan. Why is that?'

Only a very few specialized mods use MySql databases. If you encounter a mod that does, you may have to learn how to run it, but other than that most standard bukkit plugins are pretty self-explanatory. Most mod developers are also pretty good at putting instructions in their plugin pages.
If you have questions about a specific mod, or a different question that you would like answered, you might ask around on the bukkit forums, or here too.
As far as step-by-step instructions, YouTube is a great place for that. There are plenty of videos that walk you through the process of setting up a server and managing various plugins. is one to start you off.
