This is apparently a mass-wide issue prevalent to the latest multiplayer version. I too am having this issue. As much as I hate to say this, the best option for now is to wait until Notch and company can fix these problems with another patch update.
In the meantime, try experimenting with the server.properties file on Notepad. Edit the line "view-distance=10" to say "view-distance=5" to reduce the automatic render distance of your server. Then, log in to Minecraft and go to Video Options and reduce your own render distance to "Normal" or less. The results may allow you to spawn on a few chunks, but the server may not be able to generate chunks entirely, resulting in End of Stream crashes, client end.
If this happens, go to your server console and issue the command "save-all", then "stop". This will close your console. Repeat this process once more and try to access your server again. You might get it to act a little more stable for a short time, but no solid answer has sprung up, sorry.
I heard that helps.
how change view?
Change it to "Far" to like the smallest?
Edit
Relogged and it was fully loaded
They are right to fear!
